Conquerors through faith

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went (Hebrews 11: 6&8, KJV).

The Bible affirms that believers are more than conquerors (over all challenges) through the Lord Jesus Christ who strengthens us (Romans 8:37). However, we overcome first by faith and then spiritual realities become transformed into practical (experiential) realities. According to Hebrews 11:1, faith is the substance of things hoped for; the evidence of things not seen; it follows that we must have the confident assurance in our hearts about the certainty of our victory through God. Such assurance must hold in spite of what we may see, hear or feel; in keeping with the fact that believers should walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).

Taking a cue from Abraham who through faith in God went on to the place he did not know about, we have to proceed into the new month of November, and other unfamiliar endeavours, with a confident assurance that all will be well with us throughout the month and the endeavours. Although we know nothing about the specifics of the days of the month; and while news and the events around us may point to the contrary, we have to settle in our hearts that since God cannot fail, this month would turn out its richest blessings unto us. Similarly, we have to venture into our business undertakings, careers efforts and the journey of life generally, with a faith that assures us that we are destined to win. When we settle our victory by faith, we will be able to refuse failure and manifestations that are contrary to God’s word and promises to us. We finally receive the physical manifestations of the victory we settled by faith in the spiritual realm. Amen

Welcome to your season of conquering through faith.
