Makpa earned his medical degree (MBBS) from the University of Jos in 2009, developing a strong dedication to community health that began during his early medical practice in Nigeria. Today, he continues his life’s work of care as a Salaried GP in South Staffordshire.

​He is happily married to Grace Atobatele and is a loving father to their two children, Daniel and Danielle. Together, they are devoted to walking with God and serving Him through their church community, and also cultivating a Christ-centered home.
