Sunday had his personal encounter with Christ as a teenager and God has been faithful in sustaining him ever since. He holds a BSc in Microbiology and a Masters in Public Health from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. He is currently running a Masters in Biomedical Sciences, specialising in medical genetics in the UK.

Sunday joined the RCCG March 2007, during his service year. Since then, he has served as a teacher in teens churches of two parishes, member of the Sunday school department, an un-ordained alter minister and parish secretary, then he became an ordained minister back in Nigeria, before moving to the UK for postgraduate studies.
