Gavin Felsinger

Un-ordained Minister

Gavin Felsinger was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka and migrated to the United Kingdom to continue his higher studies. He holds a Master’s degree in IT & Management from Keele University and works as an IT specialist. Gavin is blessed with a happy married life to Emani and enjoys the responsibility of bringing up 2 lovely children.

Gavin has had a personal relationship with Jesus from his childhood having been born to a very committed Christian family. Gavin and Emani have being worshiping the Lord with Living Water Parish (LWP) since 2007. Among the many programs, LWP offers to its congregation, ‘Family Life Series’ is their most popular program.

Since he was a teenager, Gavin has been an active member of the Sri Lankan YMCA (Young Men’s Christian Association). He has participated in a number of Local, National & International level YMCA programs and has directed a number of National level programs. He has always had a great passion for working with less fortunate children and youth such as street children, war affected children, Tsunami affected children. He has served as the National Youth Chairman of YMCA Sri Lanka.

Gavin and Emani strongly believe in the concept of family and particularly enjoy spending time with their young family. Following the example set by his own father, Gavin knows the value of investing ‘TIME’ in kids’ lives. Gavin takes immense satisfaction in the roll of an understanding husband and caring father. As most Sri Lankans, he too is a Cricket fan.

Favourite Scripture - 1 Corinthians 13

4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;

5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails....13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
